Meet the Team

Harlee Courtepatte
A member of the Michel First Nation, the Founder and CEO of Ihtiwin is focused on building systems that connect Nêhiyaw knowledge, education, and technology in meaningful ways. Drawing on experience in entrepreneurship, digital innovation, and community leadership, the work spans strategy, learning design, and Nêhiyaw language revitalization, all with the goal of creating opportunities that strengthen Indigenous communities and shape the future of education.

Bilal Muhammad
A business educator and entrepreneur, Bilal serves as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Ihtiwin. With years of experience teaching entrepreneurship and business at MacEwan University, his work bridges classroom learning and real-world application. Combining expertise in strategy, operations, and program development, he focuses on building scalable systems and partnerships that bring Ihtiwin’s vision to life.
