OUR STORY
Ihtiwin is an Indigenous-led innovation company designing the next generation of education and business systems. We connect strategy, technology, and knowledge into one ecosystem, what we call Education-as-a-Service (EDUaaS). Our work helps organizations, Nations, and institutions build their own learning infrastructure, scalable, adaptable, and rooted in community.
Our Purpose

Mission
To build and deliver unified education systems that empower communities to access, manage, and expand their own learning ecosystems through integrated strategy, technology, and Indigenous-led knowledge frameworks.

Vision
To become the global benchmark for community-first education infrastructure, where Indigenous knowledge, data, and innovation drive economic sovereignty and self-determined growth.
Our Education-as-a-Service Model
Education-as-a-Service (EDUaaS) is Ihtiwin’s core framework—an integrated system that combines consulting, technology, and knowledge sharing into a single learning infrastructure.
Each part of the Ihtiwin ecosystem plays a role in this closed-loop model:
-
Ihtiwin Strategies captures insight through real-world projects.
-
Tawâw turns those insights into adaptive learning and simulations.
-
Ihtiwin Review publishes stories, research, and case studies that feed back into the system.
Together, they create a living education model that grows with every learner, every organization, and every partnership.
Rebuilding Education from the Ground Up
Many education systems were never designed with Indigenous learners or communities in mind. Ihtiwin was founded to change that. We’re creating learning infrastructure that bridges traditional knowledge with modern tools—where data, stories, and innovation belong to the people who create them. Our approach removes dependency, builds capacity, and prepares the next generation of leaders for the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
Designed for Real Impact
Every partnership begins with listening.
We collaborate with communities, institutions, and businesses to co-design strategies and learning experiences that reflect local needs and global opportunities.
Our work is grounded in three principles:
-
Respect for Knowledge Ownership – Data and stories stay with the communities they come from.
-
Applied Learning – Every project produces something that can be practiced, tested, and improved.
-
Sustainability – Our systems are built to scale, last, and create value beyond a single program.
